The people of Oman are hospitable, friendly and generous. They are polite, especially the men, but more, incredibly good looking. Whenever a group of men walked by their wonderful smell drifted to my nostrils from the tassles on their dishdashas, which were dipped in perfumes. They take enormous pride in their appearance and you would be hard-put to find a scraggly beard in Oman. There are no hobos in Oman and if there are, I didn't see them.
I enjoyed my time there but, unfortunately, I never made it to Salalah in the south, next to the border of Yemen.
